The Photographer Behind the Viewfinder
Photography became part of my life while I studied at Georgian College. My earliest inspiration came from much closer to my home — my families farm in Dufferin County, Ontario, Surrounded by the beauty of the countryside and the changing of the seasons. All the nature, I began to take notice of the landscapes and the tiny details the get overlooked.
Throughout my journey as a photographer my curiosity has taken me far beyond the farm. From travelling around local spots in Ontario, and Canada and a few international countries. I was creating memories and stories that developed through my work. I am always looking for details that get overlooked, and photos that can inspire others.
For me, photography has never been only about making a beautiful image. It’s about preserving a memory — of a person, place and an experience — so years from now, a photograph can take us back there again.
My Photography is shaped by curiosity and the details that catch my eye along the way. From discovering new places, to capturing people and their stories, to exploring the small details often overlooked, each gives me a different way to preserve a moment and share how I see the world.
Capturing people, their personalities and the stories that get uncovered through my photos.
